Drawings : Farewell to My Body

 

 

These drawings focus on the body's ability to convey emotion through its physicality. I tend to focus on hands, fingers, and body limbs, portraying them as manipulators. They manipulate and contort eachother evoking emotional moods and personalities. I am interested in our understanding of our own bodies; how that understanding is influenced by ourselves and by others.
